About Balak Mandir Sanstha, Kalyan
Welcome to Balak Mandir Sanstha, Kalyan’s first Kindergarten (Montessori) School, established with a rich history of perseverance, patience, and sacrifice. Founded on March 30, 1949, on the auspicious day of Gudi Padva, our institution was the first of its kind in Kalyan.
Today We have 8 different schools and one junior college.

Our Founder
Balak Mandir Sanstha was established by the visionary Mrs. Indu Tai Deodhar,who received her education from the world-renowned Italian education expert, Maria Montessori, in Pune, in November 1948. Mrs. Indu Tai Deodhar, Indu Tai Apte along with her husband, Mr. V.S. Apte, started the school from their own residence, laying the foundation for an enduring legacy in early childhood education.
